Respond Right scales its right-brain education program to 10,000+ children across India using TrainerCentral
"It’s going very well for us. It’s very convenient to use and seamlessly working, and it’s very user-friendly also."
— Kavisha Seth, Co-Founder, Respond RightThe company
Respond Right is a right-brain education program founded in 2017. It began as a post-school, B2C extracurricular activity, with parents enrolling children directly for classes.
By 2019, the model had expanded into a franchise network spanning close to 20 locations, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Bangalore. When the pandemic forced the closure of offline centers in 2020, Respond Right rebuilt as an online program. In doing so, it expanded its reach beyond India to parents in Singapore, the Philippines, the UK, the US, and Australia.
Eventually, rather than staying a B2C, one-off enrollment model, Respond Right moved toward a B2B structure. Schools now run Respond Right as a scheduled weekly period, much like a PE or art class, built around 12 to 15 short activities spanning areas like foreign language, speech and drama, and mandala art.
Today, Respond Right runs its program inside 80 to 90 partner schools and has grown from its first cohort on TrainerCentral to more than 10,000 children across India.
"That's why if you see, all the videos are put up on TrainerCentral very beautifully. The schools are viewing the program and it's seamlessly working for them. Also to see it inside the classrooms on their smart TVs or projectors where they are running it," said Jay Dhami, Founder and CEO, Respond Right.
Before TrainerCentral
Before adopting TrainerCentral, Respond Right ran its live online sessions over Zoom. Every class required a staff member to be present to share and play videos for each school manually—which meant the team couldn't run two schools' sessions at the same time.
"Before that, we used to use Zoom to conduct the classes. But every time, somebody had to share the screen and show it. I needed someone present there, live, to do it every single time. With TrainerCentral, that eased out. I don't need that anymore. They can just stream it themselves with the help of user IDs and passwords," said Kavisha Seth, Co-founder, Respond Right.
The team had also attempted to build an in-house LMS before finding TrainerCentral. "We failed miserably," Dhami said. "If I'd built my own entire system, it would have taken lakhs of rupees—that's obviously what we saved. Plus, we have great support," Dhami added, which is what led them to evaluate ready-built platforms instead.
Business growth and introduction to TrainerCentral
Respond Right came to TrainerCentral through Zoho CRM. The team first onboarded Zoho CRM to manage inbound inquiries, and was introduced to TrainerCentral shortly after. Before settling on TrainerCentral, the team had also tried Classplus for a period, but it didn't work out for their use case.
But when Zoho came in, everything worked beautifully.
Talking about the switch, Dhami noted,

TrainerCentral's connection with Zoho CRM was a meaningful upgrade. With the two systems linked, data from every inquiry and enrollment flows straight into the CRM.

Business solutions using TrainerCentral
Structured, grade-wise course creation
Where the team once had to manually locate and screen-share video files for every session, TrainerCentral let them organize content into proper courses by grade.
"Now with TrainerCentral, we're very easily able to upload grade-wise videos. Nursery has all the videos it requires put up. I put up Junior KG, Senior KG—I can very easily make courses for them. Everything is very structured inside the system. All I have to do is make the user ID and password and give it to the school, and they're able to view it very easily," Seth shared.
Asked how easy it was to create courses on TrainerCentral, Seth said: "It was very easy. Just after the first walkthrough, we could create courses and lessons."
The team also called out how little it takes to manage day to day, even away from a desk:
"It's just very easy to maintain all these things from a phone, wherever they are."

We can put it in the queue and, with one button, publish it or put it into draft—and keep playing around even on the go. If a staff member is out, they can even do it from their phone, so they don't have to be physically in front of a laptop.

Freed-up operations team
With sessions running through structured logins instead of manually staffed screen-shares, the same operations work now takes a fraction of the staff time it used to. Respond Right's operations team has grown from two to 10 people following a second funding round—with that team now focused on higher-value work rather than manually running video playback for each school.
White-labeled, branded delivery
Respond Right's learner-facing portal is fully branded as Respond Right rather than TrainerCentral, so every school interacting with the platform experiences it as Respond Right's own system.
Zoho ecosystem integration
Respond Right runs on a connected set of Zoho products alongside TrainerCentral: Zoho CRM for lead and inquiry management, Zoho Forms for capturing entries (which flow directly into CRM), and Zoho Flow to connect them.
Pricing and ROI
"The pricing fit into our model very well. If we'd gone with any other system, the storage cost alone—uploading that much to the cloud—would have been very high. This way, it was very affordable," Seth explained.
They also called out responsiveness as a differentiator: "Whenever we called, they were just one call away to help us sort out whatever issues we had," Seth said, speaking about the TrainerCentral support team.
"Zero to 10,000 is managed by TrainerCentral," Dhami added.
Looking forward
Respond Right is looking to build out further beyond its current footprint of 80 to 90 partner schools. They're confident in making TrainerCentral part of their journey for the long haul.
